In recently looking through social media feeds, I reflected on photographers being placed into categories. While I practice street photography most of the time, it’s because I live in a city. If I lived in rural or mountain towns, I’d likely photograph within those surroundings. In that way, we’re products of our surroundings.
If I’m to categorize my art work into a photographic genre, it would be termed “generalist.” Photographing in deserts and forests of the world is something I’d be happy doing as much as photographing on the streets of the cities in the world.
With that, I’m compelled to share a few photographs from my travels. Southwest USA.
With the recent “atmospheric river” rainfall in the Southwest USA, I see Lake Mead’s water levels are no longer low.
