I agree with you there. When the joy exhibited in a photo has the ability to extend its inherent joy to a viewer, that type of joy is special because it didn't require direct person to person--but photograph to viewer. Magic.

I've not thought about it in those terms when I began going, it is what it is. it's where my family went when we were looking to enjoy ourselves. Having fun was living. Now, as an observer, I dig deeper into the why.
