Besides walking itself, I think most humans have the experience of walking up and down steps. Though all steps don’t look the same, the physical actions and experiences are exactly the same. If you’ve seen one stairway, you’ve seen them all 😉
Yes there’s a universality in their logical design that lets us recognize ourselves there I think. You captured it - and threw a curve (so to speak) with the man taking the corners up the steps.
The music speaks to stairs. I like all the different staircases you’ve photographed and like looking how people transverse them.
