Thanks Mark! I listen to the music over and over again. Replay each video before and after posting just to make sure what I felt before remains as I feel afterward.
I went back and looked at your older post. The view from the top is magnificent. I would not venture alone there and make sure someone else knew where I had gone. The anxiety can be felt in the pictures you’ve taken. Is the reason it has remained because the demolition would be so costly? It reminded me of Halloween haunted houses which I stay away from at all times.
At that time, I believe it was the tallest structure in the neighborhood. The panoramic views substantiate that.
Yes, I believe the cost to demolish. It would be extremely high or cost prohibitive. Since the neighborhood has I guess gentrified in the last 20 years, the costs might be worth it to some developers
But it’s also location. It’s located at the entryway to the Gowanus Canal, a United States Superfund Site for polluted waterways during its industrial history.
Patris, photographing inside by myself, I remember the feelings of anxiety and fear because I didn’t know if anything was gonna happen or not. I wasn’t the only one inside. It’s so huge, dozens or more could be there and no one else would know.
Love the vibe the music delivers. Nice work!

Haunting. In an already old and haunted place.
